GT-MX Mercer Extreme V8 is out!
The GT-MX Mercer Extreme V8 is now available! It is the third car in our GT-MX lineup, following the Protech P92 F6 R and the Macca V8.
The Mercer Extreme starts from our GT-M Mercer V8 and removes the limits a GT rulebook would normally place on it. The idea came from a one-off evolution of a front-engined GT race car that was freed from homologation and went on to set new lap records at several circuits.
What has changed compared to the GT-M car:
• A naturally aspirated V8 producing over 680 hp, with a broad torque curve
• An enlarged rear wing and a redesigned, more aggressive front end
• A chassis set up to stay stable under high-speed load while keeping a sharp turn-in
• A new sound recording, with a deep V8 note and positional audio
As with the rest of the series, GT-MX cars are not balanced against each other. Each one is meant to show what its platform can do once the restrictions are gone.
