Race Sim Studio × Formula E
Introducing our first official Formula E car: GEN4, coming to Assetto Corsa. This marks a major new chapter for Race Sim Studio, bringing the next generation of electric racing to our collection. Today, we’re sharing the first public look at the car and some of the features being developed alongside it.
A new driving experience
GEN4 combines substantial performance with the technical demands of electric racing:
- Up to 600 kW of power.
- Active all-wheel drive through front and rear electric motors.
- Up to 700 kW of regenerative braking.
- High and low downforce aerodynamic packages, each with its own front flap adjustment.
- ATTACK MODE and PIT BOOST, adding power deployment and charging decisions to race strategy.
- Detailed powertrain, braking and energy management systems, with adjustable traction control and ABS.
Developed using technical data supplied for the project, our recreation covers the systems that give GEN4 its character. Front and rear power delivery, differential behaviour, regenerative braking and battery management all contribute to how the car responds, and how you approach a race.
Bringing the race to the screen
Alongside the car, we’ve developing a dedicated broadcast suite for spectators and content creators. A customisable timing tower and broadcast HUD present race positions, energy levels, ATTACK MODE and PIT BOOST status. Driver presentation graphics add optional portraits and team information, giving race coverage a recognisable Formula E appearance. Adjustable scale and background transparency help these displays fit different screen layouts, whether you’re following the action or producing your own coverage. This is our first look at a project that brings together the car, its systems and the presentation around the racing. More previews, technical details and release information will follow.
